Diy face masks are really popular, some swear by them and some oppose the idea of putting any random ingredient on their face. I know some DIY recipes can be tricky as they just give you this false hope of getting beautiful and perfect skin in just a few days.
But Nothing in this world can give us an instant result. We have to put effort to get our desired results. Same with skincare and haircare.
No DIY remedy can change our skin conditions overnight or just in a few days. It takes time for the remedy to show its magic on our skin.
So, don't get disheartened, if you don't get an immediate result. Be consistent with it and you will see an improvement in your skin condition.

1. OATS AND GREEN TEA FACE MASK:-
- Take 1 tablespoon of oats powder and 1 tablespoon of green tea.
- Mix well.
- Apply this mask to the clean face.
- Keep it on for 10 minutes.
- Wash it off with normal water.
- It can be done 2-3 times a week.
- This mask soothes irritated and dry skin.
2. YOGURT AND ROSE FACE MASK:-
- Take 2 tablespoons of unflavoured yoghurt and 1 tablespoon of rose petals powder.
- Mix well.
- Apply this on the face for 10 minutes.
- Do this twice a week.
- It is beneficial for dull skin as it instantly refreshes the skin.
3. POTATO AND HONEY FACE MASK :
- Take 1 tablespoon of potato juice and 1 teaspoon of raw honey. Add 1 tablespoon of gram flour to it.
- Mix well.
- Apply it on the face for 15 minutes.
- Rinse it off with normal water.
- Try doing this twice a week.
- It is extremely good for suntan and uneven skin tone.
4. GREEN MUNG AND MILK FACE MASK:-
- Take 1 tablespoon of finely grounded green mung powder and 1 tablespoon of raw milk.
- Mix properly.
- Use this mask on the face for 15 minutes.
- Rinse it off with normal water.
- Do this once a week.
- This mask works as a scrubber and discards dead skin cells from the skin. It is great for skin brightening.
5. LICORICE AND YOGURT FACE MASK:-
- Take 1 tablespoon of liquorice and enough unflavoured yoghurt to make a smooth paste.
- Apply this on the face.
- Leave it on for 15-20 minutes.
- Wash it off with normal water.
- Do this twice a week.
- It decreases pigmentation and dark patches from the skin.
6. MILK POWDER AND ROSEWATER FACE MASK:-
- Take 1 tablespoon of milk powder and 1 tablespoon of rose water.
- Mix everything properly.
- Apply this mask on the face for 10 minutes.
- By now you know the drill, wash it off with water.
- Do this twice a week.
- It nurtures dry skin well.
- Take 1 tablespoon of fuller's earth or multani mitti powder and add 1-2 tablespoons of fresh tomato juice.
- Mix well.
- Apply this mask to the skin.
- When it semi-dries, rinse it off with water.
- Do this twice a week.
- It is excellent for eliminating suntan and making the skin tone even.
8. BANANA AND HONEY FACE MASK:-
- Take 1 tablespoon of banana paste and 1 teaspoon of raw honey.
- Mix well.
- Apply it on the face for 15-20 minutes.
- Rinse it off with water.
- Do this twice a week.
- It moistures the skin deeply and keeps it soft and supple.
9. ORANGE AND ALOE VERA FACE MASK:-
- Mix 2 tablespoons of orange peel powder with 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel and 1 teaspoon of raw honey.
- Apply it to your face.
- Wait for 15 minutes, before washing it off with water.
- Apply this mask only at night.
- It can be done twice a week.
- It makes our skin tone even and helps with acne spots and blemishes.
10. RICE AND OATS FACE MASK:-
- Take 1 tablespoon of boiled rice water and 1-2 tablespoons of oats powder to make a face mask.
- Apply it to the skin for 15 minutes.
- Rinse it off with normal water.
- Try doing this 2-3 times a week.
- It wipes out excess oil from the pores and manages excess sebum production.
11. SANDALWOOD AND TOMATO FACE MASK:-
- Take 1 tablespoon of sandalwood powder and 1 tablespoon of fresh tomato juice.
- Mix these two.
- Apply it to your face.
- Leave it on for 10 minutes.
- Wash it off with normal water.
- It can be done 2-3 times a week.
- It is great for pigmentation and darkness around the mouth area.
12. TOMATO AND COFFEE FACE MASK:-
- Take 1 tablespoon of tomato juice, 1 tablespoon of coffee powder and 1 tablespoon of gram flour or besan.
- Mix well.
- Apply it on the face for 15 minutes.
- Wash it off with normal water.
- Try doing this twice a week.
- It is incredible for brightening up the skin instantly.
13. GRAM FLOUR AND GREEN TEA FACE:-
- Take 1 tablespoon of gram flour or besan and 1 tablespoon of green tea.
- Mix well.
- Apply it on the skin for 5-7 minutes.
- Rinse it off with normal water.
- Do this twice a week.
- This mask works on reducing skin inflammation and nourishing irritated skin.
14. NEEM AND HONEY FACE MASK:-
- Take 1 tablespoon of neem powder, 1 teaspoon of raw honey and 1 tablespoon of rose water.
- Mix well.
- Apply it to the skin for 10-15 minutes.
- Rinse it off with normal water.
- Do this 2-3 times a week.
- It benefits in controlling pimples and breakouts.
■ SKIN TYPE: Oily to combination skin type.
15. ALMOND AND CURD FACE MASK:-
- Take 1 tablespoon of almond powder and 1 tablespoon of homemade curd.
- Mix well.
- Apply this mask to the face.
- Leave it on for 15 minutes.
- Wash it off with water.
- It can be done once a week.
- This mask slows down the process of premature skin ageing.
