Yoghurt is a very common ingredient in our kitchen. It has so many vitamins and minerals that can deal with many skincare issues. Even applying the plain yoghurt to our face can do wonders to our skin.
It is suitable for most skin types. It is rich in antioxidants that help in the growth of new skin cells. It can soothe our skin from irritation and sun damage.
All of these DIY yoghurt face masks are basic and simple but the results are great and long-lasting. As mentioned in the title, I have used yoghurt as the main ingredient and added other ingredients according to the requirement of the face mask.
NOTE:-PLEASE DO A PATCH TEST BEFORE APPLYING ANYTHING ON THE FACE TO SEE IF YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO ANY OF THE INGREDIENTS.
1. YOGURT AND SANDALWOOD FACE MASK:-
- Take 1 tablespoon of yoghurt and 1 tablespoon of sandalwood powder.
- Mix well.
- Apply this paste on your face and neck.
- Keep it on for 15- 20 minutes, before rinsing it off with normal water.
- It can be done 2-3 times a week.
- It is suitable for combination and oily skin types.
- Sandalwood controls excess oil production on the skin that leads to clogged pores and acne. Yoghurt provides the required amount of moisture to the skin, making it soft and supple.
- Take 2 tablespoons of yoghurt and 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder.
- Mix well.
- Apply this mask on the face for 20 minutes.
- Wash it off with lukewarm water, followed by cold water to minimise the appearance of the pores.
- Do this 3 times a week.
- It is perfect for mature and ageing skin.

5. YOGURT AND OATS FACE MASK:-
- Take 1 tablespoon of yoghurt and 1 tablespoon of oats powder.
- Mix well.
- Apply this paste on your face for 20 minutes.
- After 20 minutes, damp your skin a little bit with water and gently scrubs your face for 1-2 minutes. Wash it off with normal water.
- It can be done 2-3 times a week.

6. YOGURT AND HONEY FACE MASK:-
- Take 1 tablespoon of yoghurt and 1/2 teaspoon of raw honey.
