GET A RADIENT AND EVEN-TONNED SKIN USING THIS DIY RED LENTILS AND ORANGE FACE MASK BEFORE THIS DIWALI 2020
Getting glowing looking skin before any festival is a must. Even people who don't take care of their skin on a day to day basis, also want to have healthy and radiant skin before any big occasion. If your skin looks healthy and clean, makeup looks and seats well on this skin. Today's DIY face mask is all about reducing pigmentation and dark patches on the skin. This mask is very effective and with regular application, it will make our skin clear and even-toned.
NOTE:-PLEASE DO A PATCH TEST BEFORE APPLYING ANYTHING ON THE FACE TO SEE IF YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO ANY OF THE INGREDIENTS.
INGREDIENTS :
1. Red lentils powder
2. Rice powder
3. Orange peel powder
4. Tomato
5. Wild Turmeric powder
5. Raw milk (dry to normal skin) or homemade curd (oily to combination skin ) or rose water or plain drinking water
PREPARATION :
- Take 1 tablespoon of red lentils powder, 1 tablespoon of rice powder, 1 tablespoon of orange peel powder, 1 medium-sized ripe tomato, 1/4 teaspoon of wild turmeric powder and a little bit of either raw milk or homemade curd or rose water or plain drinking water according to your skin type.
- Put all of the ingredients in a blender and make a smooth paste out of it. The paste should not feel gritty on the skin.
- Apply this mask to your clean face and leave it on for 15 -20 minutes.
- Rinse it off with normal water.
- Pat dry your skin and apply your favourite face serum and moisturizer.
- Do this 2-3 times a week at night. During the night our skin repairs and heals itself, so I would suggest you use this DIY face mask at night to get the maximum benefits out of it.
- Red lentils powder and Rice powder both are great to treat pigmentation and dark patches on the skin. They remove the dead skin cells by gently scrubbing away the upper layer of the skin. It helps with skin cells regeneration. Since we have made a very smooth paste, it won't irritation our skin. And always remember to scrub the face very gently.
- Orange peel powder and tomato both are a powerhouse of vitamin C and antioxidants that protect the skin from free radicals and makes our skin bright. It also lightened any discolouration or dark spots on the skin. It
- Wild turmeric is full of antibacterial and antifungal properties that fight against any bacterial infections.
- Raw milk or homemade curd has lactic acid in them which mildly bleaches our skin. It also removes dark spots and blemishes from the skin. Rosewater is extremely soothing on the skin and helps in skin rejuvenation.
- Moisturing our skin every single day can help us with the radiance and glow. A well-moisturized skin looks and feels very soft and supple.
- Applying a sunblock protects our skin from sun damage. So make sure to apply your sunblock.
- Finally, our diet plays a major role in how our skin looks from the outside. Having a properly balanced diet and drinking the required amount of water can improve our skin quality tremendously.
