Cleanser:- The first step of any facial is to clean your face properly. Here we will be using raw unsweetened cocoa powder.
Oily Skin:-
- Take 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder and 1 teaspoon of besan or gram flour. Add little water to make a paste-like consistency.
- Now, wet your face and apply this paste. Like any regular face wash, massage your skin for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
- Then wash it off with normal water.
Dry Skin:- Dry skin people can use a little bit of raw milk instead of water to make a smooth paste.
Steam:- Next step is steaming your face. For this, you can use a facial steamer or you can dip a cloth into some warm water, and then wipe your face with that cloth. But please do not burn yourself.
Scrubbing:-
- For this take 1 tablespoon of raw unsweetened cocoa powder and 1 teaspoon of rice flour. Next, add 1-2 tablespoons of fresh unflavored yogurt.
- Mix well.
- Apply this mixture all over your skin and start scrubbing in a circular motion gently for 1-2 minutes.
- Use normal water to rinse it off.
Sensitive Skin:- Sensitive skin people can replace rice powder with oats powder. But if you have any active acne, I would suggest you, to skip scrubbing and directly go to the face mask.
Massage Cream:-
- Take 1-2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, 1-2 drops of sweet almond oil(oily skin) or 3-4 drops of sweet almond oil( dry skin) and 1 tablespoon of yogurt (oily skin) and 1 tablespoon of fresh cream (dry skin).
- Mix well.
- Now start massaging your skin in upward strokes for 5-10 minutes.
- You can use a cotton round to wipe out the cream or rinse it off with normal water.
Face Mask:- The final step is to apply a DIY face mask.
- In a bowl, take 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder, 1 tablespoon of orange peel powder, 1/2 teaspoon of raw honey and enough rose water to make a paste.
- Apply this face mask for 10-15 minutes.
- Finally, wash it off with normal water.
Sensitive Skin:- Sensitive skin people can replace the orange peel powder with neem powder.
