Dark underarm is a common problem that most women face. Sometimes a lot of us have to stay away from wearing a sleeveless dress. Dark underarms can be caused by various reasons such as poor hygiene, wearing tight cloth, accumulation of dead skin cells, using harsh deodorant, inner health problems, etc. If you are facing some health problem, please visit a doctor.
Mother nature has a lot of ingredients by using which we can lighten our dark underarms naturally. Please, always remember that it takes time to remove the darkness completely. Here in this post, I am sharing a few home remedies that can help you to lighten the underarms. Try them out to see which one works best for your skin. POTATO JUICE AND WHEAT FLOUR PASTE:-
- In a bowl, add 2 tablespoons of fresh potato juice and 1-2 tablespoons of wheat flour. Next, add 1 teaspoon of lemon juice to it.
- Mix well.
- Now, apply this paste on the underarms for 10 minutes.
- Rinse it off with normal water.
- After that, use a body lotion to moisturize the underarms.
- You can do this 3-4 times a week.
LEMON PEEL POWDER AND RAW MILK PASTE:-
- Take 3 tablespoons of lemon peel powder and mix enough cold raw milk to make a paste-like consistency.
- Apply this mixture on your underarms for 10 minutes.
- Wash it off with normal water.
- It can be used thrice a week,
NOTE:- If the skin of your underarms is very sensitive and your underarm area cannot handle the lemon peel powder, then please use orange peel powder instead of lemon peel powder.
GREEN MUNG AND TOMATO JUICE PASTE:-
- Take 2 tablespoons of green mung powder and add 2-3 tablespoons of tomato juice to it.
- Mix well. Apply this mixture on the underarms.
- Leave it on for 10-15 minutes.
- Use normal water to remove it.
- You can try this thrice a week.
COFFEE POWDER AND COCONUT OIL SCRUB:-
- Take 2-3 tablespoons of coffee powder and add 1-2 tablespoons of extra virgin coconut oil.
- Mix well.
- Now, wet your underarms a little and start scrubbing the underarms area using this scrub for 4-5 minutes.
- Wash it off with normal water.
- You can do this 2-3 times a week.
OATS POWDER AND SUGAR SCRUB:-
- Take 2 tablespoons of oats powder and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Now, add 3-4 tablespoons of either homemade yogurt or raw milk.
- Mix well.
- Apply this mixture on the underarms and scrub for 2-3 minutes. Then, leave it on for another 5-10 minutes.
- Rinse it off with normal water.
- It can be done 2-3 times a week.
TIPS:-
- Always make sure to moisturize your underarms after using any home remedies.
- try to wear more cotton cloths as it is skin-friendly.
- Hair removal cream can make the underarm area dark, so try to follow methods like waxing, etc.
- Stop using a deodorant that contains harsh chemicals and alcohol.
