DIY AT HOME FACE SCRUB FOR SOFT AND SMOOTH SKIN

Scrubbing or exfoliating is an important part of the skincare routine. It eliminates all the dead skin cells, dirt, and grime from our face. It smoothens the skin texture making it soft and supple. It removes blackheads, whiteheads, and excess sebum. Thus our skin becomes brighter and healthier.

                             
                                             There are many different types of scrubs for different skin types and different skin concerns. We should scrub face not more than two times a week. Excessive scrubbing can irritate our skin. We should steam our face before scrubbing as steaming opens up the pores and the scrubber can work more effectively.







                                            How To Use Scrubber:- 
  1. First, cleanse your face properly with the help of a cleanser. 
  2. Then use the scrubber on the wet face and gently massage it for 1-2 minutes in a circular motion. Concentrate more on the problematic areas. 
  3. Lastly, wash it off with water. You can keep some homemade scrubber for a little longer before washing it off. 
  4. Pat dry your face. 
  5. You can rub some ice cubes wrapped in a handkerchief on the skin as it would soothe your skin more. 
  6. And apply some toner and moisturizer. 
  7. If you are using it at day time, please make sure to apply sunblock. 
  8. I would suggest scrubbing your face at night as your skin heal properly at night time.

  • Mix well to form a smooth paste. 
  • Apply this on the clean face and massage it for 1-2 minutes. 
  • Let it keep for another 10 minutes. Now, again wet your face and gently massage the skin for 1 minute. 
  • Wash it off with normal water. 
  • You can do this once or twice a week. 

Aloe Vera and Rice Powder Scrubber:- 
  • Take 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel and 1 tablespoon of rice powder. Add 5-6 drops of sweet almond oil or coconut oil to it. 
  • Mix well. 
  • Apply it on the skin and scrub for 1 minute.
  • Rinse it off with normal water. 
  • You can try this twice a week.

                                             Scrubber for Normal Skin:- 

Coffee and Honey Scrubber:- 
  • Take 1 tablespoon of coffee powder and enough raw honey to make a paste-like consistency. 
  • Now apply this on the skin. 
  • Keep it on for 5 minutes. 
  • Rinse it off with lukewarm water. 
  • Lastly, splash some cold water to close the pores. 
  • It can be used 2 times a week.

                                             Scrubber for Combination and Oily Skin:- 

Almond and Yogurt Scrubber:- 
  • Take 2 tablespoons of almond powder and 1-2 tablespoons of homemade yogurt. 
  • Mix well. 
  • Apply it on your skin for 15 minutes. 
  • Rinse it off with normal water. 
  • You can do this 1-2 times a week.

Oats and Tomato Scrubber:- 
  • Take1-2 tablespoons of oats powder and 2 tablespoons of tomato juice. Add a few drops of rose water to it. 
  • Mix well. 
  • Apply this on your skin and massage for 1-2 minutes. 
  • Use normal water to remove this from your face. 
  • It can be done twice a week.

                                           Scrubber for Sensitive and Acne-Prone Skin:-

Gram Flour and Cucumber Scrubber:- 
  • Take 1 tablespoon of gram flour or besan and 1 tablespoon of cucumber juice. 
  • Mix well.
