DIY RED LENTILS FACE MASK FOR SMOOTH SKIN


Masoor dal or red lentils are a staple in Indian households. This protein-rich friend has tons of health benefits. But do u guys know it is extremely beneficial for our face too? The minerals and vitamins present in it help our skin to maintain its health. By mixing it with other powerful ingredients, the benefits that it provides multiply much more.

THE BENEFITS OF MASOOR DAL OR RED LENTIL:-

• How to make masoor dal powder:- 

Take 1/2 cup of masoor dal and put it into a blender. Make a very fine powder. You can keep the powder in an air-tight container easily for 2-3 months. Make sure that it is away from any kind of moisture.

• How to make masoor dal paste:- 

Soak the required amount of masoor dal in water overnight or 7-8 hours. Strain the water and put it into a blender to make a smooth paste.

1. MASOOR DAL AND PAPAYA FACE MASK:-

  • Take 1 tablespoon of masoor dal paste, 1 tablespoon of papaya pulp. Add 1 teaspoon of raw honey to it. 
  • Mix well. 
  • Apply this mask to your face for 15 minutes. 
  • Wash it off with normal water. 
  • It can be done twice a week. 
  • It is suitable for all skin types.
2. MASOOR DAL AND LICORICE FACE MASK:- 

  • Take 1 tablespoon of masoor powder, 1 tablespoon of licorice powder and full-fat malai or milk cream. 
  • Mix well. 
  • Apply this mask to your face for 10-15 minutes. 
  • Rinse it off with normal water. 
  • It can be done twice a week. 
  • It is suitable for dry to normal skin types.
3. MASOOR DAL AND OATS FACE MASK:-

  • Take 1 tablespoon of masoor dal paste and 1 tablespoon of oats powder. Add raw milk to make a face mask. 
  • Apply it on the skin. 
  • Keep it on for 10 minutes. 
  • Wash it off with normal water. 
  • It can be done 2-3 times a week. 
  • It is suitable for dry to normal skin types.
4. MASOOR DAL AND POTATO FACE MASK:-
  • Take 1 tablespoon of masoor dal powder, 1 tablespoon of besan, 1 tablespoon of potato juice and 1 teaspoon of unflavoured yoghurt. 
  • Mix well. 
  • Apply it on the skin. 
  • Wait for 15 minutes, then rinse it off with normal water. 
  • You can do it 2-3 times a week. 
  • It is suitable for combination to oily skin types.
5. MASOOR DAL AND ROSE FACE MASK:-

  • Take 1 tablespoon of masoor dal paste, 1 tablespoon of rose powder and 1-2 tablespoons of rose water. 
  • Mix well. 
  • Apply this mask to your face for 10 minutes. 
  • Wash it off with normal water. 
  • It can be done twice a week. 
  • It is suitable for all skin types.
