SELF CARE DIY RELAXING SPA NIGHT AT HOME BY USING SIMPLE INGREDIENTS

After a busy week, it is also good to relax our mind and body, and what's better than giving yourself a nice spa night at home. Going to regular spas can take a toll on our pocket but doing it at your home will be a lot cheaper. All we have to do is to make some easy DIY recipes that will not only rejuvenate the mind and body but also will brighten up the skin and make our hair soft and manageable. In this post, I will be sharing a hair mask, a face scrub, a face mask, and last but not least a body scrub. This whole routine will give our skin and hair amazing results.

NOTE:- PLEASE DO A PATCH TEST BEFORE APPLYING ANYTHING ON THE FACE TO SEE IF YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO ANY OF THE INGREDIENTS.

HAIR MASK:-

  • Take 2 tablespoons of extra virgin coconut oil, 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, 1 tablespoon of castor oil and 1 tablespoon of vitamin E oil. 
  • Mix well. 
  • Apply this hair mask on the scalp. Give the scalp a proper massage. Then apply the rest of it to the entire hair length generously. 
  • Keep it on for 50 minutes to 1 hour. 
  • It will take the most time, so do it first. And then you can go ahead with the skincare.


FACE SCRUB:-

  • Take 1 tablespoon of coffee powder and 1 tablespoon of oats powder. Add 2-3 tablespoons of rose water. 
  • Mix everything properly. 
  • Before applying this scrub, use steam to open up the pores. 
  • Now, apply this scrub on the face and gently massage your skin for 2-3 minutes. 
  • While scrubbing, try to concentrate on the areas which are more prone to whiteheads and blackheads such as the nose and chin. 
  • Do not rub your skin vigorously. 
  • Once you are done with scrubbing, keep this on for another 5 minutes. 
  • Rinse it off with normal water. 
  • Pat the skin dry.


FACE MASK:-

  • Take 1 tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 tablespoon of milk powder and 1 tablespoon of almond powder. Add the required amount of yoghurt to form a smooth lump-free paste. 
  • Apply this all over your face and neck. 
  • Leave it on for 15-20 minutes. 
  • Wash it off with normal water. 
  • Pat dry the skin. 
  • You can apply your regular serum, night cream to finish it off.


BODY SCRUB:-

  • Take 1/2 cup of normal power sugar or brown sugar. Next, take 1 ripe banana and mash it very well. Mix the banana paste into the powder sugar and add 2 tablespoons of coffee powder, 1 tablespoon of raw honey and 1 tablespoon of raw coconut oil. 
  • Mix everything very well. It will take a little time to bind all the ingredients properly. Once that is done, our body scrub is ready to use. 
  • First, wet the body with water. Then take a little bit of the scrub and start scrubbing your whole body. Concentrate areas like elbows and keens more as they tend to get very rough. 
  • Rinse it off with normal water. 
  • Apply your favourite body lotion to keep the skin hydrated the whole night.
