Get rid of Dark Underarms Naturally
Most of us suffer from darkly pigmented underarms. Sometimes it can be really frustrating as we cannot wear our favorite sleeveless dress. It takes a lot of time and effort to get rid of it. In this post, I will be sharing some home remedies and tips which will help you with it.
1.Rice Flour and Milk Pack:-
- Take 2 tablespoons of rice flour and around 4-5 tablespoons of cold raw milk. Now add 1/2 teaspoons of coconut oil to it.
- Mix well and apply it on your underarms. Leave it for 5-10 minutes and after that start massaging it gently with a little bit of water.
- Then wash off with normal water.
- You should do it twice a week.
To make this pack I have used three ingredients and they are rice flour, cold raw milk, and coconut oil. Rice flour is an excellent agent when it comes to skin brightening. It has anti-inflammatory properties. For centuries many Japanese and Korean women have been using it in their skincare regimen. It gently scrubs away all the dead skin cells. Raw cold milk also helps in brightening the skin. Coconut oil adds moisture in the skin and soothes the skin.
2.Oats and Orange Pack:-
- Take 2 tablespoons of powder oats and 1 tablespoon of orange peel powder. Now add 3 tablespoons of curd and 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel.
- Mix well and apply it on your underarms.
- Wash off after 10 minutes.
- You should do it thrice a week.
Oats powder is known as a mild scrubber and orange peel powder is rich in vitamin c. These two ingredients help in getting rid of that black patch or uneven skin tone. Yogurt also contains lactic acid that brightens your underarms. Aloe vera gel clams down the skin.
3.Coffee and Cocoa Pack:-
- Take equal parts of coffee powder and cocoa powder and add some coconut oil and curd to make a paste.
- Apply this paste on your underarms and leave it for 15 minutes.
- Wash off with normal water.
- You should do this twice a week.
Coffee powder removes the dead skin cells and cocoa powder is full of antioxidant properties. I have used yogurt as a mixing agent to give it a paste-like consistency. Coconut oil locks in the moisture back to your underarms. This pack is particularly good for those who have sensitive underarms.
4.Sugar and Tomato Pack:-
- Take a tomato and cut it into two halves. Now take some powder sugar and rice flour and dip the tomato halves into sugar and rice flour mixture one by one and start massaging it on your underarms for at least 4-5 minutes.
- Wash off with water.
- You can do this three times a week.
Both powder sugar and rice flour are considered as a good scrubbing ingredient. Tomato juice helps in reducing pigmentation. Thus this whole process makes your underarms even-toned and smooth.
5.Wheat Flour and Besan Pack:-
- Take 1 part of the wheat flour and 2 parts of besan or gram flour add around 3 tablespoons of curd and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and a pinch of turmeric.
- Mix well and apply this to your underarms.
- Leave it for 10 minutes and wash off with water.
- You can apply this paste thrice a week.
Wheat flour and gram flour both cleanse your underarms very well. Lemon juice acts as a skin lightening agent. Turmeric contains antibacterial and antifungal properties. It kills the bacteria that cause underarms smell. It keeps your underarms fresh for a long time. Yogurt moisturizes your underarms skin.
SOME USEFUL TIPS:-
- Never use hair removal creams on your underarms. It can make your underarms darker.
- Use deodorant which does not contain alcohol as alcohol makes your underarms drier.
- Always moisturize your underarms after shaving or removing any packs and at night before going to bed.
